Hồ Chí Minh’s Thought on Women’s Rights and their Application in the Current Period

Abstract:

With love and aspiration for freedom, Hồ Chí Minh dedicated his life to the cause of human liberation, including women – the most vulnerable class in the old society. Hồ Chí Minh’s thought on women’s rights is a unique element in his thought on human rights and evidence of his humanism. In this article, the author gives an in-depth analysis of Hồ Chí Minh’s thought on the rights of Vietnamese women and the direction of applying his thought to successfully implement the strategy of “gender equality” in Vietnam.
